The 21 Day Fix - Is it THAT Effective?!

By now most of you have heard of the 21 Day Fix but for those of you that don't, here's a quick recap. The 21 Day Fix was designed by this lady named Autumn Calabrese (I highly recommend you find her on Facebook and also subscribe to her YouTube Channel!!!). Autumn is a single mom and, when she designed the program, was working full time crazy hours as a trainer. Like any fitness professional, Autumn knew that working out is not even half of the equation when it comes to what your body looks like... it is all about NUTRITION! When she developed this new program, she made nutrition a priority. From this combination of fitness and nutrition, the 21 Day Fix was born!

The workout portion of the 21 Day Fix includes short but powerful 30 minute DVD home workouts every day of the week. The results are driven by a combination of... you guessed it... workouts and nutrition! The nutrition part of the program is kind of amazing. You get a meal planning book and portion control containers with your Fix. These containers are color-coded by food group. The meal plan is used to determine how many servings of each food group you should be eating per day. From there, there are lists in the guide of what is the best kind of food in each food group to eat. It also comes with your first month of Shakeology! Autumn and the 21 Day Fix literally tell you what to eat, when to eat, how much to eat, and how to workout. And you can do it all from home. Talk about bang for your buck!!!

So anyway, this program has a LOT of hype surrounding it. It is supposed to be so effective, but is it? I don't have a personal testimony about this program. You see, I first started my own 21 Day Fix journey in January. I got through one week and lost 3 pounds. The next Tuesday, I found out I was pregnant! I stopped the nutrition plan then, which was a BIG mistake. Had I known that I could have and should have just done the maintenance plan plus 300 calories per day I would have. (I found that out later thanks to Autumn herself at the Team Beachbody Summit!)

Since I don't have my own 21 Day Fix results, I thought I would post on my Facebook page and ask friends and followers what their results were. I wanted REAL LIFE testimony about what makes this program so amazing. I was blown away by the comments so I am going to share them with you below via screen shots!!!

In addition to the public call for results, I reached out to a special lady named Janae who started her Beachbody journey with the 21 Day Fix. Her results were so amazing and she joined as a coach because of it. Here is what she told me about her results:

"I lost 8 lbs and 14 inches all over. Mostly my waist. It works so well because up until the fix, I always thought 'as long as I eat healthy, I won't get fat,' but I also couldn't figure out why I couldn't lose weight either. Portioning out your food and eating only a few fruits a day (not an entire bag of grapes just because they are "healthy food") was a game changer. I thought I knew about food but really I had no idea."



As you can see, it is pretty obvious that this program actually IS that effective! :)

I have fellow coaches who haven't had a challenger use any other program BUT the Fix for months because of the simplicity of the program and the results that it gets! I know it will be the first program I use after the baby arrives and I am ready to workout. In fact, I might get the meal plan started right away!
