What is P90?

Many of you have heard of P90X by now. It is the program that transformed living rooms into extreme fitness centers. P90X's creator, Tony Horton, wanted to develop a program that would get you into the most amazing shape of your life from home. And he most definitely delivered!

If you have completed the P90X program, props to you. You are kick-ass! If you own the program and tried it and then realized that Drea-rolls are the bane of your existence and then quit, you are like a LOT of people I know. Including me. I love Tony but I definitely struggled through such an extreme home program!

P90X is one of those programs that tend to end up dusty on the shelf. It is not because it is ineffective or impossible. It is just very extreme for a beginner!!! So what did Mr. Horton do? He created a prequel, of course!!!

P90 is a gateway program that is made to be doable for all fitness levels. These workouts were designed by Tony to be filled with moves that are simpler and less extreme but equally effective. This is a program that is going to be as great for someone that hasn't worked out in years as it will for someone who is focused on maintenance of their current figure.

Who can do this program? Beginner - Moderate fitness levels. Extreme junkies might be a little bit bored.

How long is the program? Just like the other P90X programs, this is a system designed for maximum results in 90 days time! There are three 30-day phases that gradually increase in intensity. In other words, you start with more beginner moves and work your way up!

How long are the workouts? All workouts are 25-45 minutes, 6 days per week. It's the perfect amount of time for a busy, on-the-go person.

Sweat A (25 min.): "Melts that fat that's been holding you back."
Ab Ripper A (8 min.): "Adds power and definition to your core."
Sculpt A (28 min.): "Gets your body ready to get strong."
Sweat B (32 min.): "Cranks the calorie burn even higher."
Ab Ribber B (14 min.): "Carves slimmer, rock-hard abs."
Sculpt B (31 min.): "Builds endurance and lean-muscle growth."
Sweat C (36 min.): "Burns fat and tests endurance like never before."
Ab Ripper C (15 min.): "Puts the final touches on your lean, sexy six-pack."
Sculpt C (42 min.); "Defines your body and puts results into overdrive."
Saturday Special (25 min.): "A super efficient, high-velocity sweat-fest that will help you get your weekend workout done - and done right - in a hurry.

Do I need a pull up bar like I did with P90X?
Nope!! No pull-ups in P90!

What can I eat? Meal plan is included!

I am going to be ordering P90 the day it comes out! I am thinking after 9 months of modified activity and slow moving (growing a baby is exhausting), P90 workouts are going to be perfect for me!!! Once I deliver and have clearance to workout I will NEED a beginner's program! And since Tony and Baby Pierce are already acquainted, it will be perfect (haha!)! Will you join us?!

Tony, me, and Baby P!
