Turkey Chili Recipe

This recipe was adapted from one that I searched on Google to include more veggies and less sugar! We made it last week and it was seriously delicious!

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
1 pound ground turkey
1 cup chopped onion
1 chopped green pepper
1 chopped red pepper
2 cloves of chopped garlic
1 can red kidney beans (16 oz.)
1 can crushed tomatoes (28 oz.)
2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
1 tablespoon Frank's Red Hot
2 teaspoons sea salt
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon sugar

Directions:

Saute peppers, onion, and garlic in olive oil in a large skillet until onions are translucent.
Add in ground turkey and continue to sauté until turkey is browned.
Add in beans, tomatoes, broth, red hot, and seasonings and stir well.
Let simmer for one hour with the occasional stir.
Serve & enjoy.
